Where to Photograph Carlisle Wildlife

February 22nd is National Wildlife Day, and what better way to celebrate than by exploring the great outdoors and capturing some of Carlisle's wonderful wildlife. Here are some of my favourite spots for wildlife photography:

• Carlisle City Centre: The city centre is home to a variety of birdlife, including pigeons, seagulls, and the occasional heron. Look out for the city's resident heron, who can often be seen hunting for fish in the River Eden.
• Rickerby Park: This beautiful park is home to a variety of wildlife, including squirrels, rabbits, and a range of birdlife. Look out for the park's resident swans, who can often be seen gliding along the River Eden.
• Bitts Park: Another beautiful park in Carlisle, Bitts Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including squirrels, rabbits, and a range of birdlife. Look out for the park's resident heron, who can often be seen hunting for fish in the park's ponds.
• Hadrian's Wall: This historic site is home to a variety of wildlife, including red squirrels, rabbits, and a range of birdlife. Look out for the area's resident kestrels, who can often be seen hunting for prey along the wall.
