My name is Michael Huggan and I'm a passionate photographer with a lifelong love for capturing the world's beauty in all its variety. My photography journey began many years ago, fuelled by a deep-seated desire to document the incredible things I saw on my travels.

I've always been drawn to the thrill of adventure, and over the years, I've had the privilege of exploring diverse destinations across the globe, from the majestic landscapes of Europe and the bustling streets of Asia to the awe-inspiring wildlife of Africa and the breathtaking natural wonders of North and South America. These experiences have shaped my photographic perspective, instilling in me a profound appreciation for the diversity and wonder of our planet.

My professional journey started in a different field. As a Chartered Mechanical Engineer, I embarked on a successful career straight from school. However, my passion for photography always burned brightly, eventually leading me to pursue it wholeheartedly.

From the early days of black and white film to the advancements of digital technology, I have embraced every evolution in photography, constantly seeking to refine my skills and expand my creative horizons. The freedom and control that digital photography offers have been instrumental in my artistic growth, allowing me to manipulate and refine images with precision, ultimately bringing my vision to life.

I've always admired the work of other photographers, and I've been fortunate enough to learn from some of the most talented individuals in the field. Observing their techniques, understanding their creative processes, and learning from their experiences have been invaluable to my development as a photographer. I believe that embracing mentorship and continuous learning is essential to artistic growth and achieving photographic excellence.
